Vision

We build the Kids-AI-Infrastructure for Europe

Children deserve an AI that respects their development, their attention and their families. HillcrownAI is the European answer: sovereign, pedagogical, transparent — and built to last beyond a single product cycle.

Why now?

Five sentences

Our vision in five sentences

  1. 01

We believe European children deserve an AI that is sovereign by default, not by exception.

  2. 02

We believe parents should stay in the loop — not as customers, but as partners of the system.

  3. 03

We believe pedagogy is more important than engagement — completed learning beats daily active users.

  4. 04

We believe transparency is a feature: methods, audits and safety controls are publishable, not proprietary.

  5. 05

We believe Europe can run its own infrastructure for children — and we are building it.

Three pillars

Legally sovereign · Pedagogically sound · Own technology

The vision is structured along three pillars. They show up in every product decision, every architecture diagram and every editorial guardrail.

Legally sovereign

Servers in Germany, no third-country transfer by default. AI Act, GDPR and JuSchG are baked in, not bolted on. Procurement-ready documentation on request.

Pedagogically sound

No companion, no memory, no simulated empathy. Parents are informed, not replaced. The system is designed for completed learning, not for engagement.

Own technology

Open-source base models, in-house moderation, in-house CMS. No OpenAI wrapper, no Anthropic frontend. Methods are published, not proprietary.

What is Kids-AI-Infrastructure-as-a-Service?

Kids-AI-Infrastructure-as-a-Service (KAaaS) is the platform layer behind safe AI experiences for children aged 4–14. HillcrownAI runs its own models, its own moderation pipeline and its own content CMS on servers in Germany — partners integrate it as white-label or SDK into their own products, without having to operate ML infrastructure, moderation or AI Act compliance themselves.
